Another abundant and blessed month has come and gone. May was a month full of opportunity, finding new ways of thinking, and discovering different parts of myself. My favorite part of this month was watching the seasons change and finally feeling the sun kiss my cheeks. I also found myself being more spontaneous and feeling more confident. All of this amazing energy I carried throughout May, I wish to carry with me into June. June shall be the month of financial abundance, love and friendship, and self-discovery. FASHION FAVORITES + WHAT’S COMING FOR JUNE:

May was an exciting time for fashion in my life. I am further embracing my earthy vibe and exploring other aesthetics as well. I attended the Jersey Creator’s Market and made my usual weekly visits to my local thrift store. I have also visited my favorite thrift stores in New York with friends, which was so nostalgic and enjoyable. My friends reiterate that I am, in fact, a thrift goddess, and I am!!! Since the weather has been getting warmer I now am able to wear the new additions in my closet. I am also revisiting some summer classics that make it to every summer season, again and again. I am so excited to share my fashion favorites with you and look forward to continuing to style my clothes this upcoming month. I will be making a blog post about what It girls are wearing this Summer, so definitely be on the lookout!

Scarves:

I have been deeply obsessed with scarves, as tops, or in my hair. I find all of my scarves at the thrift store, as they are super cheap and have a huge selection to choose from. As the weather gets hotter, throwing on a scarf top is effortless but looks so fashionable. Scarf tops pair well with skirts of any length, shorts, jorts, and cargos. They also are an amazing accessory to spice up and elevate any summer outfit.

Skirts:

Mini, midi, or maxi skirts are always my go-to garment when I’m picking out my outfit. I am a skirt girly through and through. I have been loving maxi skirts in particular, which I feel make me look so majestic. I recently purchased this black mini skirt which is meant to be worn as a swimsuit, but it is so comfortable and looks amazing paired with a baby tee or tank.

Red:

My love for wearing red is not new per se, but it is definitely in full force this summer. Especially when my complexion gets tanner, red looks amazing on me. I am in my Betty Boop era, always and forever. While I am definitely an earth princess, red is a color that I love to wear when I want to add a pop of color to my outfit. Red is also such a fun color to wear in the summer because it is so bright and screams a good time.

Tube tops:

For me, tube tops are always a staple summer piece. Every single summer season, I find myself gravitating towards tube tops. They pair easily with any bottoms which is what makes them so versatile. They are also super comfortable and I think they add a feminine touch to any summer outfit. Full length tube tops have been trending, but I can also appreciate a band-style tube top or a happy medium length.

What’s Coming For June:

I have spent most of May preparing for Summer and now she is finally here. This upcoming month, I want to continue to make more content, post more on depop, and potentially take thrifting + content further. I will not speak about it just yet; I do not want to jinx it. I want to of course post more fashion content on here, I am just in the midst of finding out what style of posts I’d like to do. Summer for me, is always about growth and freedom and opportunity. My life is thriving with all three currently, and I am so beyond blessed and grateful. I would love to dedicate more of my time to fashion related posts, so if there are any posts you guys want to see, please leave a comment :)). I also am itching to head to the beach to style my new thrifted finds, which I will share with you guys. As for the blog, I am just going to push out as many posts as I can and share my summer with you guys. Do you want to see summer posts? Should I make a summer bucket list post? I also recently made it possible to subscribe via email to be notified when posts are released, are you guys tuned in?? ;)))

Nails of the month:

Mini Life Update:

This month was a prosperous month for me. I started a new remote job, I made new friends, spent time with my besties, thrifted galore, got a new tattoo, and had so much fun. I will admit, I did feel a little bit in a funk for a part of May, but I think it was due to the rainy weather we were having. I feel at my most powerful when the sun is out and shining. I finished the semester with a 3.92 GPA, which I am beyond grateful for; my hard work paid off. I am relieved to finish school and focus on myself and my goals. This month I did not read, which I am a bit disappointed in myself. However, I will be kind to myself, take accountability, and do better this month. I am someone who is constantly changing and growing and should be gentle on myself, as should you. Life nonetheless has been amazing, I have no complaints. I am just forever grateful for all of the opportunities and love I have been feeling lately. As always, I am grateful for every single reader who takes the time to tune into my posts; you are my muses. My darlings, I wish you all a fruitful and abundant June and may the start of your summer be ICONIC!!!
