MAKEUP FAVS
Honestly, I have not tried any new products this month, so my favorites remain the same. In my previous monthly favorites, I listed my favorite brands and products (with links). You can check it out here.
FASHION FAVORITES + WHAT’S COMING FOR APRIL:
As you guys know, the thrift store is my favorite place and where I buy the majority of my wardrobe. Because most of my pieces are thrifted, I cannot link them, but I will provide the brand on the label of any pieces I mention <333
Button-Ups:
I am currently obsessed with button-ups: solid colored or striped; I am LOVING a button-up. It elevates an outfit, can be dressed up or down, and makes you look polished. I have been wearing button-ups over tops and sometimes buttoning them completely. I think everyone needs a good button-up in their wardrobe; it will never fail you. Conveniently enough, button-ups are available at your local thrift, so go take a trip ;))

Necklace stacks:
I have been pinning so many pictures of necklace stacks on Pinterest. I think there is nothing more fashionable and cunty than layering a bunch of your favorite necklaces to spice up your outfit. Every stack is different, as is every person, and I think that is what makes it so stylish. I have been trying to do this myself, and I am currently building up my jewelry collection to achieve this look.

Baggy Jeans:
Baggy jeans were a part of my list last month and still hold a spot on my list this month. Baggy jeans are comfortable, stylish, and look effortless. Baggy jeans can be paired with almost anything and are extremely versatile. I love when my jeans hang low on my waist and are perfectly wide legged. My favorite pairs come from the thrift store, but some of the brands include American Eagle, Lucky Brand, Levis, etc…

Cardigans:
I have not always been a fan of cardigans, but I will admit that I have joined this trend. Cardigans are not only an extra layer of warmth, they are an extra layer of fashion. Cardigans can accessorize an outfit too! I have been loving colorful cardigans in particular, I thrifted a pink cardigan earlier this month and a red one recently. I love this trend, especially with Spring coming up where it is not yet hot enough to go without a jacket, a cardigan is the perfect solution.

What’s coming up in April:
We have officially entered Spring, and I welcome her in with open arms. April showers (I’m not a huge fan of this part, lol) bring May flowers, which means we are that much closer to sulking in the Summer sun. I am building up my wardrobe, thrifting pieces that I love and need, and finding new homes for my old clothes. I, indeed am in my depop seller era, lol. Check out my depop here; I have different size ranges, affordable prices, and different styles ;)). I may also have some potential big news for the blog, but I will not disclose it quite yet. I also intend to be much more consistent with the blog, although school is becoming extremely stressful. My loves, please forgive me for my inconsistency. If you want to keep up with me in real time, I post frequently on my tik tok and instagram, which you can find at the bottom of my home page ;)).
I would love to know what you guys would like to see on the blog: more pictures? more short stories? more book reviews? more fashion content? Leave your thoughts in the comments <33
BOOKS
Books I’ve read this month:
- The Mastery of Love ~Don Miguel Ruiz, Janet Mills
- One Italian Summer ~Rebecca Serle
- All Good People Here ~Ashley Flowers
Currently Reading… All Good People Here~ Ashley Flowers
Reading Next… The Bluest Eye ~Toni Morrison
I recently thrifted this gorgeous copy of The Bluest Eye, which has a different cover than the one I attached. My love for thrifting has now met my love for reading, as I now find myself gravitating towards the book section of my local thrift store. This pick-up fed my growing book addiction for sure.
MINI LIFE UPDATE:
I am so proud of how far I have come and all the growth I have experienced in such a short period of time. I took the time to focus my energy inward, and I am seeing the results in all areas of my life. I am thriving academically, at work, with my friends, and in my goals. I am working every day to become the person I aspire to become. I also found out I was going to be an auntie, and I am soooo excited, so shout out to Sam (the best lash tech and an amazing friend). I also want to express gratitude to all of the amazing people in my life, I will not list you all in fear of missing anyone, but you all know who you are. I hard launched my blog and received so much support, and I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has supported, shown support, or even read my posts: You are part of the reason I do this. I am beyond grateful for all of the opportunities presented to me, and manifest this energy will carry into April. I would like to find more time for myself and my passions. In March I also grew a love for flowers and a flower mother now! I have been loving making my own bouquets, I find it so therapeutic and stress relieving. I get my flowers from Shoprite and they typically have a deal, 3 smaller bouquets of flowers for $15! Pretty awesome if you ask me.
