there’s something about coming back to yourself that never gets old. It is never fun to lose your way, to lose sight of everything you have been working for. At first, it can feel adventurous to venture off; to go off the path you’ve created for yourself. It can feel almost freeing to let go, to deviate. I usually let myself enjoy this feeling, but it is important to come back to yourself at the end of it. Although it is not fun, it is often necessary and character-building. Sometimes you need to wander, get lost, and find your way. This is how you learn and grow. The feeling of returning to your path may feel difficult at first. You may feel unmotivated to do so, but these are growing pains. But give yourself grace during this time. This discomfort is you adjusting to the latest version of yourself. It is a recentering of self. It is when you remember how it feels to do the things you love and when you remember what it is you are meant to be doing. Your intuition and your will grow stronger. “Where there is a will, there is a way.” The desire to be a version of yourself you adore becomes overwhelming. All you are focused on is moving forward and bringing your goals into reality. Nothing matters more than this. And nothing should. Give yourself the grace to learn more about yourself, to explore your desires and dreams. Discovery happens when you allow yourself to get lost. Allow yourself to get lost and come back. You will always find your way back.
